Access Fund

Ask the fund to pay the payee.

How asking the fund would work, step by step. It has not opened, and nothing here is an offer.

Pick one of four things, check the payee before writing, name what and how much, attach the paper, tick “partial is fine”, one optional sentence. Drafts would save themselves.

Nothing on this page is an offer

The Access Fund has no balance, no committee, no payee and no way to ask. These pages are the design — the flow, the criteria and the committee process — with every pool, cap, award and payout figure absent or marked illustrative. A preview banner says a feature does not work yet; it cannot disclaim a financial commitment to someone who is ill and out of money, so this notice does.

Your cap this rolling year

[ILLUSTRATIVE] — no cap exists, because no fund does

The request, step by step

  1. 1 · What kind of cost

One of the four. Anything else is outside the categories, which is the first of the four grounds.

  2. 2 · Who gets paid

The lab, practice, pharmacy or vendor — checked against the payees on file before you write. The fund never pays a person.

  3. 3 · What it is

The test, the visit, the prescription or the listing, in a few words.

  4. 4 · Amount on the invoice

The figure on the paper, not an estimate of need. Tick “accept a partial award” and a reader can award up to the cap and leave the rest.

    accept a partial award
  5. 5 · Fight the denial first

For a lab or a prescription: the insurance kit assembles the facts an appeal rests on from your record, and you write and send the appeal. If none was sent, say why — the reader sees the answer as a fact, never as a ground.

  6. 6 · The paper

The denial, the not-covered line, the invoice or the estimate. A photograph is fine.

  7. 7 · One sentence, if you want

Optional, and it is the only free text a reader sees. Nothing about how bad it is; the fund has no field for that.
